Animation crashes: Dampen softness

When moving the "Dampen softness" attribute in the graph editor downwards, maya freezes. Try it on a few different controls and you're sure to run into it.
I think it's because Dampen Softness is not supposed to go below 0 but when I'm moving all the curves at once my Maya will freeze because of this.

I gave this a shot, and I didn't get a crash. Could you send me a file that crashes when you scrub animation?

This is really an annoying issue, any updates?

In version 2.2.6, I have modified the nodes so that even if you move the keys below zero, it should not crash. I strongly recommend to not move keys beyond their limits.

I am not sure why you would want to animate this value below zero in the first place. There could be other parts of the rig that will crash if keys are moved outside the limit. I can continue adding more nodes into the rig to dummy-proof it, but it does have an impact on performance.
