Feature Request

Unity/Game Engine Exporter

My request is a Unity/Game engine exporter! This script it amazing, I use it alongside a friend's unity exporter but it doesn't clean things up. It exports with the driver rig alongside the proxy one (when you create a rig for game). What would be awesome is if you could create a script that would bake the main rig, delete the proxy and (optional) delete the mesh so it would just export a clean rig with animation into it. Unity engine recognizes animation without mesh (just adding it to your rig file with mesh and skeleton), that's why deleting available meshes would be optional.     I will add this to my backlog of items I am working on. It shouldn't be too difficult, however it would mean destroying assets in the scene so the user would need to be aware of this happening and backup their scene to re-open after export. -Dustin

    Sure, what my friend does is he warns the user that everything will be cleaned up but before doing the cleaning he creates a new backup of this file by automatically saving this deleted and baked scene to a yourfilename_baked.ma so you don't risk saving on top of your main file. That's awesome because you are never in risk of messing things up :)
