Cup for hand

It would be nice to have a "cup" control for hands, to correct the "fork" design of some modeling and animation.

    You can achieve cupping by rotating the palm control and then changing the values of the "Palm Influence" on the first control of each finger. The reason it is set up this way is because I wanted there to be a simple way of getting cupping, regardless of the number of fingers the character has. -Dustin

    Oh ok I understand, good job. It look fine with exponential values for palm influence: 0.2 first finger, 0.5 second, 0.8 third etc.. Thanks Dustin

    Yeah, it's kind of an artistic choice for what works best for the character. I thought about adding an extra joint for each finger in the palm, but that results in a lot of extra joints which would not be ideal for people using my tools for game engines. I also thought about only having palm joints for the last couple of fingers, but if a user wants 2 fingers, or 10 fingers, there was no ideal way of doing that. Anyways, glad that is working for you :) -Dustin
