Hi Dustin, thank you for your fantastic script. The best by far and I've tested quite some over the time ! I really like that you are using the maya tools and MEL Script. Like this the rig stays lightweight and it's easy to add your own additions (The character I'm rigging for a test project has a tail for example) or troubleshoot just in case. There's one little thing that I wanted to ask about: character sets. Some days ago I tried to quickly create a character set, and did some tests together with the trax editor. I used select all from the script, which should select all animateable objects and channels from the rig and created the character set. Then I stored some quick poses and tried to use trax editor. Unfortunately I had some strange results (mesh exploding) I think this has something to do with the micro and macro controllers for the toon arms and legs. If I didn't include them in the set, a quick test showed no problem. Did you ever work with your script and character sets plus trax editor (For easy looping, retiming, storing poses and clips of animation). Do you have any recommendations ? Or do you have another workflow, without using trax editor that you think is better ? I will certainly do some further testing, and I'm quite sure I will find a solution. I just wanted to ask you before, if you have any experience with this. Maybe you could include basic character sets in a future release of your scripts ? I think it would be great to have one main set and one for the upper and one for the lower body, as this would help with animation (easy offsetting of upper and lower body movement). Thank you ! Best regards Casper
