Well, I managed to find another bug. I guess I'm your official stress tester now! =P

OS: Windows XP 64-bit
Program: Maya 2008

I've been getting an error in Maya 2008 that reads "// Error: Invalid flag: -ae //". This error occurs when I press the following buttons on the Quick Playblast UI:
Toggle Nurbs
Toggle Grid
Toggle Resolution Gate
Toggle All But Geo
Toggle Wireframe (Modelers Playblast section)

The script playblasts the scene perfectly but the above mentioned buttons don't work, so I can't hide the grid or show the resolution gate =(

Found the bug. The playblast -ae flag is not available in 2008, per the autodesk docs, so I'll use a different flag for 2008 and lower. The ae flag wasn't implemented until 2009, so that's why the issue is there. I will have an update for it by Saturday at the latest (if not sooner). :)

Anyone finding bugs is a good thing for me! Nothing is ever perfect and anyone that says it is, is pompous. :) It's good to know that people are finding these bugs though, because it means it's being put through it's trials. :) I'll have to find my copy of 2008, but I know it's lying around here somewhere. That's an odd error though and I know the exact command that's causing it, but I don't understand why. I suppose it's something to do with the command not being available in 2008, so I'll check it out and let you know as soon as it's fixed. Thanks again Ty!

Updated it! Sorry for the delay. My laptop decided it didn't want to play nice. :/ But I do all my development over a remote network so the file was fine, I just needed to test it on OSX before release. :)

Working perfectly! Thanks for the update. Nice button addition too! I have way too many boring MEL buttons on my shelf. It's nice to have a real button for a change!

Awesome! Yeah i hate the stock Mel buttons. I figured something to match the branding everything else I create has might be beneficial. :) Thanks again for finding the bug!
