Bugs

jaggey resulting AVI

In Maya 2011 x64  on Windows 7, with Quick Playblast - no matter the version - I get a super blockey/jaggey resulting AVI. Have tried with/without various codec packs; with different media players; Quicktime, Win Media, VLC - all the same. And render setting don't seem to make a difference.

In OS X, this is not the case, everything behaves perfectly; which would lead one to think it is a Quicktime issue, but other media players give the same result. Ruled out conflicting mel scripts. And a regular PlayBlast displays just fine.

Here is a sample still from the AVI. Any ideas?

I found the issue is actually 2011 related, but have it fixed. I'll have the new version with the fix up later today. :) Thanks for making me aware that it was an issue!

Thanks again Damien! It should be fixed now. I tested it on Windows 7 x64, with Maya 2011 x64, 2011 x32, 2010 and 2010 x64. I also tested it on Mac OS Snow Leopard with Maya 2010 and 2011 x64. All seemed well. But let me know if I need to reopen this.
