I'm redoing a great deal of the script and I want to make sure that I cover all bases, but also get the most bang for my buck at the same time. So, all I'm asking is to know which version of Maya you're using. I know it seems odd, but because I am trying to make sure it's both cross-platform and backwards compatible there are things that I can and can't do in certain versions of Maya. For instance, from 2010 on up, I can take advantage of PyMel. If the largest portion of my userbase is 2010+ users then I'm going to make a version using PyMel and the sanity I get from that. However, if it's even steven then I'll continue to use maya's commands instead. Thanks everyone!
