This script
is usefull to quickly create a catalog on a maya scene:
create your objects, assign at each of them a display layer and execute this script using the command "NPplayblastByLayers()". It create a locator called "locatorPlayblastByLayer" that control the visibility of the display layers by scrolling in the time slider and make the playblast of all of them. It control also the display of all the different type of objects, set the background color, enable the wireframe on shaded.
