I wanted to have a quick option to get to the material attribute for a given selected item. Usually you right click and go through the menu to display the material attribute. Check the image for better representation of what i try to express with my poor english. :)
I modified the dagMenuProc.mel for that matter.
INSTRUCTION: Place into your "My Documents" maya scripts folder. Usually its C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME_HERE\Documents\maya\2014-x64\scripts
