Error when attempting network render

Every time i try to render over the network i get this error:

# Error: TypeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute '__getitem__'

I'm on a mac, should the Database path be something like this? afp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/.../BatchNetworkTestanima00.local_database_.txt

anima00 is the name of the machine i'm trying to connect to.
