seems that when you have more than 9 objects created as your base Lo and Hi, it errors out.. probably because the script needs padding in its selection of those objects to be duplicated? tried to fix that but my scripting knowledge isn't quite there yet :(
got any ideas on how to fix that?
ps the test scene does work in maya 2011x64 :) which im currently using
