FieldsKit v4.3 (Nuke 4.5.27)
Is a node that features the most common options to deal with interlaced footages.
Remove Field (Half Res.)
This is nothing but the built-in field select feature of Nuke. I just included so the users can concentrate everything in one single tool. This method discards the non-dominant field and does not duplicate or interpolate the image, resulting in a half resolution frame (original field resolution).
Remove Field (Duplicate)
This discards the non-dominant field and duplicates the dominant field to achieve a progressive frame using the duplicate method.
Remove Field (Interpolate)
Discards the non-dominant field and interpolate the result using Cubic filtering to set to it's original resolution.
Note: Use the Pixel Aspet drop down to set appropriate pixel aspect ratio for now while the "input.format.pa" doesn't work.
Merge Fields (Interpolate)
It interpolates both fields using Cubic filtering to set to it's original resolution and then simply blend both.
Note: Use the Pixel Aspet drop down to set appropriate pixel aspect ratio for now while the "input.format.pa" doesn't work and the Merge Fields Mix slider to set the blend amount.
Deinterlace (Duplicate)
This option deinterlaces your sequence into full frames respecting the chosen field dominance doubling the time of your sequence so that the sequence can be reinterlace afterwards. It uses duplicate as base method to avoid losts in image quality when reinterlacing.
Interlace
Interlaces your sequence using the desired field dominance.
Invert Dominance
Inverts the current dominance, the only control de affects this node is "Convert" :)
Comments and suggestions are more then welcome.
Cheers!
