Scapula rotation problem

Date:01/22/2013
Submitted by: freakjointz freakjointz
Hello and thank for the rig
But I have a problem
When I rotate the Main ctrl; L_scapulaRoot_jntProie receive rotation value
animationControls_grpProie and front_legJoints_const_grpProie receive the same value but
it's don't affect the other object or bones parented under.
Uncheck Inherits Transform destroy everything
It seem that delete L_front_scapula_IKhandleProie, solve the rotation problem but.. no more scapula...
Any idea??

Thank you

It seems that the problem with your setup is that the scapula points down instead of upward, You can see this in your problematic scene. This might have something to do with how you laid out your joints but I would have to investigate. If you don't need the extra scapula and it works for you just go with the scene that you fixed. That should be no problem. Thanks for the feedback though.

Hey Thank for the speedy gonzalez answer!! Yes here a link to download the scene; Proie_RIG_S12_Rig.ma is the original file Proie_RIG_S13_Rig_Problem.ma is the scene where I've isolate the problem (I think....) Note; I've apply the rig at default height and scale it down afterward to match my mesh If it's not my noob error and becomes very complicated, don't bother, I'll manage something I can live with a less automatic scapula deformation

It sounds like a very unusual thing you have there but from your description it is very hard to tell what went wrong. Do you have a chance to make the scene available for me as a download? Thanks.

Yeah it's probably that or when I've scale the bones. Damn it!! I'm so noob I manage to loose time with a quick and efficient tool like yours!! Sorry to disturb you with that, I asked wishing it was only a option to uncheck. Thank you for your time
