    Wow. Using tools that have been with us all along. A most ingenious method and a great implementation. The docs are clear and simple, but are much easier if you are familiar with Maya's Dynamics. To those unfamiliar with Dynamics, don't give up! Just read the docs _carefully_ as many times as it takes and tweak the variables slowly while watching the simulation run. Also, give yourself lots of playback range (2000 frames or more) and remember: If you are still tweaking settings when the playback has almost run out, click on a frame greater than frame one. The simulation chugs along as normal and you get more time to tweak before the simulation is 'reset'. (just some thoughts and tips to pass along after my first encounter with Pelt.mel. I haven't tried the other one here yet!) Be well! wes

    i tried the pelt on a torus .works great but im having problems implementing it on a model. would be nice to have a tutorial on unwrapping a face or model on the forum
