Here's a small script I built to take snapshots of the current workspace, and update the UI with a button to quickly move to the desired frame. I find it useful when I'm skinning a character that needs alot of work, so I can quickly switch between trouble spot poses.
I had a request from an animation student for it to be placed on Highend3D, so perhaps animators will find it useful!
It writes the snapshot image path to a text file, so it can be deleted on close.
(text file & images are placed in your prefs/icons dir)
It's only been tested on Maya 8.5, 2008 & 2009 for Windows.
