Character Development Kit (cdk).
This is a python based rigging toolset for Maya.
This is " Hybrid " approach of rigging, means you can go modular as well as procedural way for your rig.
Using this tool you can rig variety of characters bipeds,quadrupeds,centipeds,fishes,tress,props...etc.]]]

If you are using too old script you might noticed I have added a new system to rig
that is dynamic fk . Dynamics is also available in tools.
All characters are rigged with CDK (old , inHouse production tool)
