As its name and image suggests script will makejigsaw puzzle pattern for you . All you need to do is to specify number of pieces and optionally you can create your own curves for pattern creation. Press GUI 'about' button for help with puzzle maker.
Tested on maya2012 and windows but I suppose it should work also on linux machines and older versions of maya
