helloRender.mel is a script for sending text messages (SMS) to your cell phone to notify you that a render is done. It uses a devilish mix of mel, html, JavaScript, and Perl. Hence:
REQUIRES PERL! Perl is installed by default on some systems. You can download this free and awesome language at https://www.activestate.com/.
It has only been tested on Windows XP with Maya 6.5/7 and ActivePerl 5.8. I have a feeling it will work on other systems, though there might be some bugs with path naming. I haven't looked at the code since I wrote it last year. If people like, I might released an improved version which doesn't rely on Perl and the net::OSCAR package.
