This simple MEL script automates the process of creating FK controls. Adjust control color and size with UI sliders, and modify the control names by specifying a suffix. Automatically connects the new control hierarchy to parent objects (if present).
Usage:
Run the script by dragging it onto your Maya viewport, or by sourcing it and typing "createFKControls" in the MEL command line.
Select one or more joints.
Adjust the control color and size using the UI sliders
Modify the naming suffix as needed
Press the "Create" button to build the control hierarchy.
Undo is supported if you need to delete the controls and specify a different size/color.
