You mean next folder
C:\Users\******\Documents\maya\scripts
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya201*\icons

Yes, that should work, but it may not work well on a PC right now. Mac only for now.
I didn't put detailed instructions because it depends on what OS you're using and how you set up your scripts, there are a number of different ways to set it up.
