  This tool works fantastic. Way better than Maya's own skin export tool. Just type DoraSkinWeightImpExp into the MEL command line to run it.

  Thank you guys in comments for explaining how to use this, it works great! Has amazing accuracy and my weights come out smoothed to which for some reason I use to have issues with maya's export tool. This works far better. Good work!
