Another renamer. Really compact, but still efficient (regexp replacement, constants, hashtag/%nd increment...)
Even renames duplicates and hierarchy thanks to (new in v. 1.1) API targeting.
Two possibilities :
Rename
Rename selected or hierarchy
Use constants (object type, parent name, old name) in new name
Increment using Hashtags or %nd string : "###" and "%3d" returns 000, 001 etc Right-click on the textfield allows you to set start and step values for increment
Replace
Replace selected, hierarchy or all unlocked objects
Use constants, and increments in new name
Replace understands Regular Expressions (example : replacing "_\d+" by "" in "CTRL_Finger_002" will result in "CTRL_Finger")
