10 years later this is the best, simple, FAST motion trail plugin there is. But Maya2016 finally killed it (it no longer refreshes.) I would love a version that works with the latest versions on Maya. EDIT: I was wrong! Hooray! It doesn't work with Viewport 2.0 but works correctly with default rendering. Whew! -

hi I love this motion trail but is it possible to have an option of nurbs sphere also as the dots??? i generally work with the nurbs curves hidden and it would be awesome if this is visible even when the nurbs curves are turned off :) also a nice delete button would be super helpful :) -

how do i get it to update? if i edit/cut it tells me there's already a trail and if i make a move theres no update. -

Works really well. Much better and faster than Maya's motion trails. Updates really fast. I second the comment about putting locators on keyframes only. I would like to see an option to turn on CVs on the curve to show spacing, and then use the locators to show keys. -

It would be really helpful if it could show locators only in keyframes. -

Wow. This is great! I have a small request. Would it be possible to have an option to choose between locators and small red spheres (with perhaps an option to change there size), since I find these much easier to read. Thanks. The script is super helpful -

This script is really helpful. I used it in my bouncing ball animation. It helped me a lot! -

sorry if I'm missing something but what exactly is the point of this script? how is it any different from Maya's own "Create Motion Trail" function? besides having less features and being more unweildy and massively node heavy..? and that's even without mentioning the amazing scriptjobs it produces. -
