Clippers gives you convenient access to the perspective camera's clipping planes, which is useful for "peeling" back front faces of a model to work on its innerds (like the mouth), or for limmiting the depth of selections. The 1.3 update creates a Modeling_blinn to use on models with front end controls for specularity, transparency and display quality of the model.
