Hey, Everytime i switch from IK to FK the arm snaps back into its default position. is there any way around this as i cannot seem to get it to work? -

I really wanted to use this rig for some lip sync animation but you can't get a good "O" mouth, and that was a deal breaker for me. I don't think the lip sync could look right at all. I do generally like the set up though, except for one other thing and that's the facial animation boxes with symmetrical control for left and right sides...how you have the boxes spit diagonally is odd to me and it makes the curves unintuitive. -

This is one of the best rigs here, too bad the set driven keys glitch out when you save and reopen a file. the wrist and foot controls have some major issues. -

great rigg, love the facial controls! the ONLY thing i'm missing is a switch on the spine so i can go from fk to ik, and like other ppl have mention som controls so u can bend and break the arms and legs. other then that its a great rigg! nice work. -

Thanks for working extra on facial controls. It's really cool. My main concern however is that the character is not generic, esp because of the proportion. It would be great if we could change proportion or if the original character would be in right proportion. -

Thanks for all the really nice words about my character and rig! I really hope that you enjoy animating him. And yes, I do plan on adding in all the rubbery goodness at some time. I'm always looking for "cool" features to implement. For those that are not sure where to put all the set up files: Install Notes (Do this before you launch Maya): 1) Copy the bgWin.mel to: C:\Documents and Settings\user\Documents\maya\version\scripts 2) Copy the individual icons to: C:\Documents and Settings\user\Documents\maya\version\prefs\icons 3) Copy the shelf_BasicGuy.mel to: C:\Documents and Settings\user\Documents\maya\version\prefs\shelves Cheers and happy animating! This is a cool rig after all. It'll be awesome if we can get extra controls for limbs to get some rubber hose motion for some crazy cartoony animation. U rock
