    Thanks for the tool.
    This script works in maya version 2024, but the file browser doesn't work properly.
    This is because 'string.uppercase' has been deprecated in python3. Replacing 'string.uppercase' with 'string.ascii_uppercase' in line 8461 should make the file browser work.

    So glad this script exists, the file browser makes maya's native content browser look like a joke in comparison, and this is free! My only issue is docking the file browser somewhere other than its default position doesn't save with the workspace after restarting maya.

    I was looking for a tool which perfectly integrates with and enhances the whole file management system, and this tool is just the perfect winner. If you are someone like me who works alone, handling file can get really a very time consuming, tedious and cumbursome process, . The tool just makes the whole experience much better with its thumbnails and all the other units.

    Thank you very much for this wonderful tool.

    Hi Matakezo. It is installed like any other script. Copy the script to one of your script paths (for example run "internalVar -usd" , no quotes, in a MEL tab or MEL command line, to get your user scripts folder) restart or execute "rehash" command and then run the following command to create "Scene Tools" menu: craSceneTools;
