Q/A

Won't export

Looks like an interesting tool, so I gave it a shot.
Using Mac version of Maya 2012 and CC 2014.

The script baked everything, but when I select export to Adobe After Effects CC 2014, and push the Export button: the script window disappears and nothing happens. The help document said to change the file path location if the export doesnt work, but with my limited knowledge that didnt do anything. My install of the Adobe Suite is in the standard location on the Mac HD. I tried fiddling with the script at the top to change CS6 to CC 2014, but that just disabled the script from working when I rebooted Maya.

I did see that the export to Maya ascii file seems to be working.

thanks.

Thank you for describing the issue so well. I have no way to test the MAC since I dont have one, and I dont have AE CC2014 . I will make an update shortly to try an address this issue, I am currently in the process of trying to get access to OSX and CC2014 so that I can add some more functionality using Javascript in AE. Until then I hope the Maya ASCII option is not too much of a hasle. Taking a look at it again if you add this line if (`optionMenu -q -sl xportOptionMenu` == 3) $AFXLoc_mac = "Adobe After Effects CC2014"; after line 17 this might work !
