Don't ask me why, I honestly can't say. I'm just playing around getting to be familiar with Maya and integrating real, tracked plates with 3D models then compositing the whole thing. So most of this was for the shadow casting and alignment in the "real world" and figuring out the best workflow for it. Made the model of the bridge and ship myself, textured myself, placed, lit, yadda yadda yadda...all me. Let me know what you think. And as always, any questions, please ask!

More alien-invasion fun! Tracked plate with Syntheyes 2008, then added the Battleship model in Maya. Comped in After Effects.
