Just explode your mesh before baking. You should have been doing that anyway, really, as it's a best-practices standard. (more) -

Control ray distance during bake? Or even use a cage?
Great tool! Only issue I've had is that the baking feature doesn't have a way to control the distance to which is will sample from a high-res mesh... (more)
