I prefer not to load it automatically, as maya loads mel scripts way better than python. I prefer to set it to a shelf icon so that i can use it. You can put the script into your scripts folder and do the "import mkPivot" as a shelf icon, then save your shelf.
But if you want the userSetup way, you can do the following...
So first, you would remove the last lines in the script __main__.....till gui()
then in your scripts folder userSetup.py (if you dont have one, you need to create one yourself)
Just add the lines
from mkPivot import gui
gui()
rifaulmen
