Can someone shed a little more light on the difference between Dynamic and Non-Dynamic Controls in the Attribute Editor? The documentation on editorTemplate is a little vague on the differences between the two.

The reason I ask is Maya is crashing when there are large numbers of dynamic controls.

Other is created by the autotemplate the other is created by a script.

I doubt this is the reason but rether the quality of eth escript of a dynamic control.
